Lucinda Bellows
Lucinda obtained her masters
in Art History at the University of Maryland in 2007 and has continued
to impress the community with her ability to capture realism in her chosen
media, acrylics. Some of her works have been on display at the Campbell
Gallery in New York City and recently she had a one-woman show at the Prathmore
House in Washinton, DC, where she had rave reviews by the public for her
unique quality to capture the "spirit" of her subject.
Raised in New York City,
Lucinda has been a staple in the art community from a young age when she
found her talent brought rave reviews from family and friends. She said
it "just came naturally and my biggest joy was sketching my family and
my pets." Encouraged to pursue her talent, she went to college in New York
and loving her field, went on to receive her Masters. Lucinda comes from
a family that encouraged her passion and enjoys bringing her talent to
help others. Lucinda enjoys shaing her talent with underprivledged children
by having workshops to help bring out the "inner artist" she says they
all have.
